Althrough the summer term Year 2 have been outside watering their Sweet Peas and Garden Peas. The children were amazed at how quickly the seedlings grew into plants after all the sun and rain and have enjoyed observing the changes each week. We even found a frog which caused lots of excitement. During the the last week of term we harvested the garden peas, the children loved picking the pods and shelling the peas. We ate some of our peas in the pod at break time, lots of children were keen to try them. Finally we made pasta and peas, everyone tried some and said it was delicious!
