We have had a super start to Term 2. Our topic this term is all about 'Winter Woodland'. We chose this topic around two of our favourite stories by Julia Donaldson 'The Gruffalo's Child' and 'Stickman' The children have already done some wonderful writing about 'The Gruffalo's Child' and we are looking forward to sharing the books with you at Parents' Evening later this week.

To get our topic work off to an interesting start we all went on a woodland walk up the 'D' lane last week. The children loved looking at all the signs of autumn and discovering leaves and berries of all different colours. later in the term we will be learning about woodland creatures such as hedgehogs. Here are a selection of photos from our walk for you to see.
