Welcome and thank you for visiting our website where we are delighted to showcase what makes Loatlands Primary School such a special place to learn.

At Loatlands we actively seek to work in partnership with families to nurture the whole child and develop the highest standards of education for children in all that they do. We believe passionately in creating a love of learning that will allow children to become enquiring learners in all areas of our enriching curriculum.
We welcome everybody to Loatlands and it would be my pleasure to show you our school in action. As Headteacher I am proud of our children and the superb educational experiences that we offer. To arrange an appointment to view the school see the contact us link for phone number and email details.

The Great Fire of London

On our first day back at school Dahl class had a great time being introduced to their new topic The Great Fire of London. We loved the story of VLAD and the Great Fire of London and listening to what happened during the fire. It was a funny story because it is a flea that lives on a rat who tells the story! We spent time talking about what we want to learn and have created a huge list of questions that we will need to research. Then we had great fun making our own silhouette collages of the Great Fire of London. We are really looking forward to finding out more about The Great Fire of London and visiting Desborough Fire Station.
